Why Hannah became a Nutritionist.

Hannah played sports from a young age and had a healthy relationship with food. Until her early twenties, where she developed an eating disorder (anorexia nervosa) which changed her relationship with food. This lead her on a path to becoming a Nutritionist.

Hannah went on to study Sport and Health Sciences in the U.S.A. where she learnt more about dietary patterns and behaviours. She had spent time travelling the world and visiting low-middle income countries as well as developed countries and was intrigued by the vast cultural differences regarding food and health.

What started as a love of Hannah’s (travel, sport and health) soon became a passion. She went onto study a masters in nutrition so that she could have the knowledge to help people.

How can Hannah help you?

Hannah is passionate about all aspects of health and nutrition, and has an array of knowledge. She provides nutrition education through various outlets. Please visit our services to find out more.

Hannah has worked in the health sector for many years and has the compassion, empathy and scientific knowledge to help guide you through your sessions. She has worked with people of all ages and background and understands the limitations that some people face which impact dietary behaviours, patterns or choices.

Hannah has a non-diet approach to nutrition which means that she will not suggest or recommend any specific diet which limits food groups. The only exception to this is if there is a specific medical reason to do so, then this will be required. Hannah believes that all food has a place in the diet (unless medical reasons limit this) and it is about finding a balance and what works for YOU.
